INNER WHEEL NEWS MAY 14, 2008
The Halifax Northwest Inner Wheel hosted a dinner for the Halifax and Kentville Inner Wheel Clubs on Wednesday, May 14. Traditionally, the May meeting is the last of the year and members from Kentville, PEI and Halifax Northwest get together for dinner at alternate locations. The PEI Club sent regrets this year. There were six members from Kentville and fourteen members and guests from Halifax Northwest.
The event was held at the Fultz House Museum in Sackville. We were treated to a sumptuous meal in a charming 1865 house built by the Fultz Family. The meal was prepared and served by Museum volunteers and we were treated to a history of Sackville and some of its notable inhabitants by another one of the Museum's volunteers. It was a wonderful evening.
There will be a special June meeting of the Halifax Northwest Inner Wheel at the home of Carol Vaughan in Northwest Cove to discuss different directions for the club. The club meets on the third Wednesday of the month at noon usually from September to May.
The Aims of Inner Wheel are:

- To promote the ideals of personal service
- To foster international understanding – or briefly FRIENDSHIP AND SERVICE
